CORVALLIS - Faculty in Oregon State University's Department of Extension and Experiment Station Communications received 14 awards recently in competition sponsored by Agricultural Communicators in Education, an international professional society.
Tom Weeks received the organization's Award of Excellence for Graphic Design, given for sustained contributions during his career. Weeks also received a first-place Gold Award in categories for computer-enhanced photographs; computer illustration; publications cover, with Lynn Ketchum and Andy Duncan; and poster design.
Other Gold Award winners from OSU included: direct mail publication, Steve Dodrill and Tom Weeks; special program or documentary, Andy Duncan and Lynn Ketchum; non-credit educational video production, Lynn Ketchum, Andy Duncan, Teresa Welch and Tom Weeks.
Silver Award winners included: non-credit educational video production, Steve Dodrill; posters, Tom Weeks; four-color periodicals, Andy Duncan, Tom Weeks, Carol Savonen, Bob Rost, Lynn Ketchum and Tom Gentle; script writing, Andy Duncan.
