CORVALLIS - Students majoring in food science at Oregon State University, Washington State University, and the University of Idaho have been awarded $2,000 scholarships by the Northwest Food Processors Association.
Recipients are Rebecca Fisher, Sublimity, a junior in agricultural business and economics at OSU; Stuart Tolman, Seattle, a senior in food science at WSU; and James Nelson, post-baccalaureate student in food science and toxicology, Idaho.
The scholarships are awarded by the association through the E.R. Jackman Foundation, development arm of the OSU College of Agricultural Sciences. The three students will be honored by the association during its annual meeting in Portland in January.
