University Events can help make your event happen!
University Events has been supporting Presidential events for many years and those will always be the focus of our work. We are also producers of University Relations and Marketing University-wide events such as the 25 Year Club and University Day. Other regularly supported projects include Government Relations activities such as OSU Day at the Capitol and Presidential projects such as the Governor's Food Drive. University Events also oversees all events held at the President and First Lady's home.
Our planning services are now available for hire on a "staff available" basis. Services can include, but are not limited to:
- Working with your team to identify event needs including date selection, venue information, and access to an extensive list of vendors.
- Develop signage, invitations and elements for your event to accentuate your event's connection to OSU and to help you get the most mileage from your event investment dollar.
- Manage the invitation process including accepting responses.
- Staff your event, or support your staff running the event so that they have every resource available for maximum success.
Fees for event planning services through University Events vary, but generally range from $300-$1500, depending on the scope of your project. We have many resources at our fingertips and can save your department time and money. We continue to be a university resource, free of charge, for questions in regard to your project such as protocol and referral of vendors. We will also continue to enrich our event planning guide; an effective tool for event planners across campus.
