HTML templates

Drupal is a robust content management system that serves as an excellent choice for any Oregon State Web site, but certain sites will require standard HTML/CSS. In other instances, custom applications are not easily integrated into a Drupal site. For those exceptions we've provided a complete set of templates in the compressed archives below.

All HTML templates include:

Sample home page and level 2 page for each color theme.
Rotating university photos preloaded with instructions for adding unique images.
Standard navigation menus.
Customized search feature.
Optional right sidebar component.
Secure PHP includes for re-using elements (navigation, sidebar, search form, contact info, etc).
Preformatted Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
Fully-commented template files, with step-by-step instructional readme file.
Downloadable zipped folders for each color theme.

The HTML templates follow the same standards for formatting as the Drupal themes. You should not make changes to these templates that undermine the overall integrity of the design. You must also follow the guidelines below when building a site using these templates:

Oregon State banner and logo standards must be followed at all times.
Only photographs can be used in the banner space. Any exceptions, such as using an illustration or other graphic in this space instead of a photo, must be approved by University Marketing.
Photo collages may not be used in the banner area of the template.
Colors and template graphics may not be modified
