Introduction to R

Description

Learn some of the basics of object-oriented programming in R.  This workshop is designed to get you started using R by working through a simple analysis. Among other things, learn to read in and explore datasets, create new variables and add them to datasets, find R help, use basic R functions, work with add-on packages, and make basic plots of your data.

All work will be done using R via RStudio

Note: this is NOT an introduction to Statistics
