Please join us in touring the Music Department at Benton Hall.
The tour group will have the pleasure of hearing two of our premier choirs as they prepare for the Orange and Black concert: Bella Voce and Meistersingers.
Benton Hall, the oldest building on the OSU Campus, was built in 1887 through private gifts from the citizens of Corvallis and the surrounding communities. The grounds, consisting of 39 acres, were later donated to the State of Oregon as an incentive to permanently locate the state's agriculture college at the new building in Corvallis.
4% of the OSU student body is enrolled in a music program. Of those enrolled, 80% are in a performance ensemble and 86% of those enrolled in performance ensembles are not music majors.
