This is a workshop for the Banner Finance Information System (FIS) user who requires access to preformatted administrative financial reports. The presentation includes an introduction to generating reports in both Appworx and the FIS Data Warehouse, followed by demonstrations and practice. The focus of the hands-on portion will consist of: an orientation of Appworx and the FIS Data Warehouse model; an introduction to the FIS Administrative reports; and exporting data to other applications.
Note: This course is a prerequisite for the Data Warehouse FIS II (Queries) course.
The handout used in this class is: OSU Banner Finance Information System, the same document used for Banner FIS class. Participants are expected to print it and bring it to class.
