Pedestrians at OSU

Walking, Running, Rolling

Due to concern of over congestion and traffic around campus, the OSU Master Plan includes the goal that the educational core of campus will be accessible by a 10-minute walk from the outer parts of campus. The Campus Shuttle is part of reaching this goal.

It's easy to walk to many destinations within Corvallis. Use Google Maps to find the best walking routes. Click on "Get Directions", enter your starting point and destination, and then click on the pedestrian icon.

To keep your self safe when walking the campus at night, make sure you stay in well-lit areas. OSU has established a system of lighted corridors to enhance your safety. To see the system, go to the Campus Map and click on the "Safety" tab.

Beaver Strides is a Student Health Services program designed to motivate people to walk more to, from and around campus.
