STARKER-pondThe Center for Civic Engagement is hosting an Earth Day service project on Saturday April 21st from 8:15am to 1:15pm! Join us for a morning of litter patrol, invasive species removal, and light pruning along a vibrant wetlands habitat. Dunawi Creek features prominently in Starker Arts Park & adjacent Sunset Park (with an interpretive boardwalk), providing opportunities to understand more about wetlands during the course of our community service event.

CCE will provide transportation to and from the service site. Students will return to campus just after 1pm. CCE will provide some snacks but student participants should plan to bring a sack lunch.
