RecycleMania continues! This annual recycling competition amongst U.S. universities is chock-full of activities and opportunities to have fun, score prizes, show your recycling pride, learn easy tips on how to reduce waste and help OSU win!
On offer for February:
Res. Hall Competition
February 6-24, all res. halls
For three weeks during the month of February, each of OSU’s 14 residence halls is competing to see which can produce the most recycling per person. See live results at Campus Recycling’s website throughout the competition. This year, McNary Hall will be defending their title as the 2011 RecycleMania Res Hall Competition winner. This year’s winning hall will receive the trophy and a pizza party.
Dining Center Game
February 7th at Arnold Dining, the 9th at McNary Dining and the 10th at Marketplace West.
Play a recycling sorting game to win a prize and learn how you can help your res. hall win the competition February 6-24! Volunteers needed.

Recycle Fashion Show

Annual fashion show featuring designs made by OSU students out of reused materials.
Fresh from the Faucet
Tuesday and Wednesday, February 21 and 22, 11:00 am-2:00 pm, Memorial Union Quad.
Fresh From the Faucet will be in the MU quad from 11am to 1 pm encouraging you to rethink your drink and fill up at the nearest drinking fountain! We will be playing fun games and giving out free water bottles.
OSU Women’s Center Clothes Swap
Thursday-Friday, February 23 & 24, 9:00am-5:00pm, Women’s Center
Want a new winter wardrobe? Want to get rid of that ugly Christmas sweater your grandma gave you? Come to the OSU Women’s Center Clothing Swap! *Donations will be accepted beginning February 20th and the swapping will take place all day on February 23rd & 24th from 9am-5pm.
Tuesday, February 28, 1:00-4:00 pm, MU Quad Steps.
Join us to conduct a dumpster audit for a building on campus; become an expert on how to recycle. Dumpster material will be sorted into recyclables, compost, and trash. Results will be shared with the departments in the building and on our website. Drop by to find out what are we throwing away. Volunteers needed.
