Student StaffThrough the Student Staff Student Involvement is better able to serve the student body and develop a more comprehensive program that continues to improve and grow every year. The staff helps further the mission of the department of Student Involvement as well as Oregon State University in assisting in creating a supportive, diverse, educational community that encourages involvement and growth of every student. The Student Involvement Student Staff is here to encourage student and organizational success through providing opportunities for involvement on campus, as well as, providing organizational support in event planning and leadership development. The Student Employees also receive professional experience that can be transferred over to almost any career field. These experiences offer the opportunity for the Student Staff to improve and excel in many areas. Communicating and working with a diverse work force, organizing meetings and events, prioritizing and delegating, public speaking, and leadership experience are just some examples of the skills that are developed by students. This experience does not only help them in their future, but gives them a once in a life time opportunity to experience the Oregon State Campus in a way that few have the opportunity to do.
