The 11th Annual National MEChA Conference provided a venue for all MEChA members and the community to come together to discuss the current status in our community. This event included an array of events such as a cultural night with a talent show, workshops on topics ranging from farm worker rights to sexual health, a college fair, a vendor fair, keynote presentations, a Chicano/Latino theatre, Aztec dancing, a march and rally for farm worker rights, and last but not least, a banquet and concert to conclude the conference. MEChA worked hard to expose issues that are affecting the Chicano/Latino community, as well as promote higher education, leadership, culture, and history to high school students.
