The Latin Festival is the main cultural event hosted by the Association of Latin American Students. The event showcases multiple aspects of different Latin American cultures to the OSU and local communities. This year the Association of Latin American Students transformed the MU Ballroom into an amazing, colorful traditional "plaza" or central park that could be located in any small town of a Latin American country, and ended with a dance and music provided by a Latin band. This event entertained student and community members, while providing information about and exposure to the Latin culture. Students wore traditional clothing and the entertainment sang and danced to the music. Informational displays provided descriptions of clothing, specific locations throughout Latin America, and more.
