Leadership, Involvement and Networking Community(LINC) Staff
LINC staff are paraprofessional student staff that, as a team, support fellow students in information/referral, event planning, organizational development and leadership development. The LINC staff will provide and expand services and support for student organizational development and event planning, create leadership development programs and increase campus awareness of community service opportunities. The LINC staff will work with Student Involvement staff to expand the resources we provide to students through all elements of the Student Involvement community.

Community Service Center Coordinators
The Community Service Center (CSC) Coordinators provide leadership development opportunities
to students through the coordination of the Community Service Center volunteer
programs and activities in various community settings. The Coordinators are
responsible for recruiting and placing students in volunteer positions, promoting
service opportunities to student organizations and to all undergraduate students,
programming community and campus service events, coordinating with various
departments on campus, working collaboratively with faculty involved in community
service and service learning opportunities, and maintaining close relationships
with community agencies.
Two CSC Coordinator positions are hired during spring term for the following
year and are expected to make a full year commitment to the position. The positions
require a commitment to work 10 hours per week. The work schedules are flexible.
Qualities of a successful applicant include enthusiasm, excellent organizational
skills, compassion and sensitivity to and appreciation of diversity.
Event Advising Team (EAT)
Event Advising Team staff are paraprofessional student staff that, as a team, support fellow students in event planning and food production. The EAT staff participate as members of a team who provide student organizational training, advising and recognition programs, actively promote a learning environment that encourages long-range event planning, adherence to rules and regulations, assurance of safe/sanitary conditions, proposal of procedures for food preparation and thorough follow-through in event evaluation and record keeping. EAT staff are responsible for coordinating and scheduling the use and staffing of the MU East International Kitchen. Staff are hired during spring term for the following year and are expected to make a full year commitment to the position.
