Academic Misconduct Information Guide:

All Oregon State University students are responsible for following the OSU Student Code of Conduct. Full text of the Student Code of Conduct is available for download, but a Student Information Guide, which summarizes important parts of the Student Code of Conduct, is also available for students to review.

Please note that OSU’s Student Code of Conduct applies even when students are off-campus! Whether you are in Corvallis, Portland, or travelling abroad, OSU’s Student Code of Conduct applies to all students!


Assistance with the Conduct Process

There are a number of resources available for students who would like more information regarding the conduct process.

Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards

The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards is happy to speak with students to address any concerns they may have regarding the conduct process or Student Code of Conduct at Oregon State University.

INTO OSU Care & Conduct Coordinator

The INTO OSU Care and Conduct Coordinator can assist INTO students with personal and academic concerns in and out of the classroom. Additionally, the Care and Conduct Coordinator can answer questions or concerns you may have and provide you with additional resources to help you be successful while you are studying at INTO OSU.

Office of Advocacy

The ASOSU Office of Advocacy provides free and confidential guidance to students who have a dispute with a member of the University. The Office of Advocacy can assist students facing issues related to academic misconduct, the first-year live-on requirement, and the conduct appeals process, among other topics.
