Pre-Conference Activity at the Spectacular Oregon Coast!
- On November 14 the OSU Campus Coalition Builders will host and provide round trip transportation to the central Oregon coast, including a one-hour's drive to the historic bayfront in Newport and north on the scenic coast highway. Specifics of the day will be determined by participants. This is a great way to get to know and chill out with others before the conference begins! Transportation
- Airfare
- The daily difference in hotel rates should go a long way to or completely cover the cost of your flight into Portland International Airport (PDX) or the Eugene Airport (EUG)! Eugene is about a 45-minute drive and Portland is about 1.5 hours from Corvallis.
- The best rates and schedules options will most likely be on flights in and out of Portland.
- Shuttle purchase options to/from either Portland or Eugene airports:
- If you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, they will arrange your trip for two or more passengers arriving/departing on the same shuttle for $100 each, round trip. The Eugene shuttle will be slightly more.
- You may also contact Wendy or Elena at Teel’s Travel Planners at 541-758-0808 or email them at wendy@travel-planners.com or elena@travel-planners.com for booking Portland at the price of $84 each round trip. No requirement of two arriving/departing together. The Eugene shuttle will be slightly more.
- Visit the Hut Shuttle website at http://hutshuttle.com/, choose “Portland” or “Eugene,” then “schedules,” then “Corvallis,” which will drop you off at the Hilton Garden Inn (do not choose “OSU” as you will end up at the campus bookstore rather than the hotel). The Eugene shuttle will be slightly more.
Campus & local –
- OSU provides a free shuttle from the hotel to campus destinations throughout the day. City buses also pickup at various campus locations.
