Through her determination and enthusiasm for the goals and projects at the SSI, Colette Conover became the Energy Projects Coordinator after interning for the organization in Winter 2012. She is currently a senior studying Environmental Science with an option in Conservation and Sustainability and a minor in Leadership. Colette wants to amp up previous energy projects like the Energy Civil War and Campus Conservation Nationals, as well as collaborate with other coordinators and organizations or groups on campus and in the community (Students Engaging Tomorrow, Energy Action Team, and many more). Coming from San Diego, California, Colette became interested in energy conservation, sustainability, and education because of her work at the Mission Trails Regional Park and California Center for Sustainable Energy in high school. In her spare time, she loves playing sports, attending school events, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and traveling. She plans to attend graduate school after her time at Oregon State.
