Student Sustainability Initiative

Becky Rubenstrunk is the Events and Outreach Coordinator at the SSI. She is a Master of Public Policy student studying community groups participating in nuclear waste management processes in Canada and the US. As an undergraduate, she studied restoration ecology, philosophy and ethics and received her BS in Applied Biology from Arizona State University. In the future, Becky would like to pursue a career in environmental or vegan outreach, but is also interested in cooking and helping shelter animals. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her newly adopted dog Coco, reading books on science, food and various other social issues, and cooking up delicious and environmentally friendly meals.
