The Water Projects Corrdinator will make students aware of the current water use and availability issues facing our society. They will work in partner with Hydrophiles and Fresh from the Faucet to help students learn about how sustainable water systems can function at OSU and beyond.
Staff transition training will begin May 5th, 2014 and run approximately 10 hours during the spring term. Summer hours may be available. All-staff training is required and runs September 10th-26th, 2014. The Administrative Coordinator works from 15-20 hours per week during the academic year.

As the partnerships coordinator, Dani she works directly with student groups, OSU staff, and community members to foster knowledge and practice of sustainability on campus. She comes to the SSI with a background in natural resource management and non-profit environmental education experience. Dani is attending Oregon State through a graduate program in environmental science. Through her studies and further experience, she is hoping to utilize her passion for sustainability and resource management in the federal sector, working on community collaboration for adaptive land management planning. In her spare time, you can find Dani hiking a trail, scrambling up rocks, digging in the dirt, dancing to live music, or enjoying friends.
The Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for actively cultivating partnerships that engage the SSI with the various groups in the Corvallis community and beyond. This position will facilitate communications between community groups and the SSI, supporting the coordinator positions in sharing information about community activities related to the positions. He/she will be an employee of the SSI, receiving direction and supervision from the SSI Director(s). He/she will work with other SSI staff in the Student Sustainability Center (SSC).
