The SSI staff member responsible for actively participating in landscape projects that engage students with the various institutions of the OSU community to make them more sustainable.

Landscape Projects Coordinator
Annie Kersting studies Environmental Science.  She is passionate about gardening and is excited to engage students in garden projects at the SSC garden.  In her spare time she enjoys hiking, sewing, art, and playing her cats. She likes to think about sustainability as a way to describe systems, and hopes that a culture of sustainability is adopted in university projects and students can find a way to incorporate it in their own lives.

Employment Dates and Hours: 

Work at least 1-5 hours per week throughout the term (additional hours may be negotiated)

Renumeration: 
The SSI will work with the student to secure credit for the internship.

Landscape Projects Coordinator

As the Landscaping Coordinator, Lindsey is responsible for the garden at the Student Sustainability Center - weeding, planting, and harvesting with the help of dedicated volunteers.

Landscape Projects Coordinator

The Landscape Projects Coordinator (Landscape Coordinator) will be responsible for actively participating in landscape projects that engage students with the various institutions of the OSU community to make them more sustainable.  They will work with various student groups that deal with landscape, soil, and agriculture issues in order to grow student awareness around these issues.

Employment Dates and Hours: 

Staff transition training will begin May 5th, 2014 and run approximately 10 hours during the spring term. Summer hours may be available. All-staff training is required and runs September 10th-26th, 2014.  Project Coordinators work from 10-15 hours per week during the academic year. 

Renumeration: 
$9.60 per hour
