My name is Botond Kovacs, I am a fourth year Earth Sciences-Geography student and I am interested in sustainable development and educating people about social justice and sustainable practices. I am active in the LGBT community at Oregon State University and am the social director for Rainbow Continuum. In my free time I enjoy running, the social life at OSU and traveling. Botond Kovacs is a third year Earth Sciences-Geography student and interested in sustainable development and educating people about social justice and sustainable practices.
The OSU Student Sustainability Initiative (SSI) is a student-fee funded, student-led program in the Department of Student Leadership & Involvement.
Staff transition training will begin approximately May 5th, 2014 and run approximately 10 hours during the spring term. Summer hours may be available. All-staff training is required and runs from approximately September 10th-26th, 2014. The Events and Outreach Coordinator works from 10-15 hours per week during the academic year.
The Water Projects Intern will be responsible for assisting with projects that engage students in making water conservation decisions and increasing awareness of water sustainability issues at OSU fun, easy, and worthwhile. He or she will be in charge of researching, planning, and putting on water-related events for interested students and community members.
If you want to learn project and event organizing skills, while gaining first-hand experience launching water related projects, this internship is right for you!
This position will work at least 1-5 hours/week for the duration of the internship, with the length of the internship to be negotiated with the supervising staff member.
