Over 40 paid student staff positions on the following teams for 2013-14 academic year.
Student Leadership & Involvement is hiring for multiple staff teams within the department. SLI hires responsible, open-minded and motivated students who want to enrich the diverse campus community through support and mentoring of other students.
Information and applications below. Completed application should be submitted online or turned in at Student Events and Activies Center office (MU 103). Candidates may apply for more than one position. The application deadline for most positions is Friday, May 3rd. Some vary however, so pay attention for the positions you are most interested in.

Information Desk for Student Leadership and Involvement (SLI)
This is Student Leadership & Involvement’s primary point of contact for all students, staff, and community members. Staff provides information/referral services and performs reception/clerical duties for the SLI Snell & Memorial Union Offices. Application Closed
Events and Activities Team (Student Events and Activities Center - SEAC)
The SLI Event/Activities team is made up of student paraprofessional staff members who, individually and as a team, support fellow students and the OSU community in education/skill development, activity support and community development. The SLI Event/Activities team works to expand the resources provided to students through all elements of the SLI community. Peer Leadership Consultants (Center for Leadership Development)
The Peer Leadership Consultant (PLC) is a team of 5-6 paraprofessionals who, individually and as a team, support fellow students and the OSU community in involvement, organizational and leadership development. PLCs provide and expand services and support for leadership and organizational development, facilitate leadership development programs, and increase campus awareness of involvement and development opportunities, including involvement in student organizations. Center for Civic Engagement
The Center for Civic Engagement’s (CCE) mission is to facilitate students' connection to the community via meaningful service experiences that inspire positive change in local and global issues. The CCE student staff are paraprofessionals who, individually and as a team, work closely with the Civic Engagement Graduate Assistant and the Civic Engagement & Service Coordinator to offer meaningful community engagement and service opportunities to the campus community. The CCE student staff positions include positions with responsibilities focusing on community partnership development, campus programming, service project coordination, student volunteer recruitment, liaising with student organizations, the Greek community, and other campus offices and departments, and communications and marketing. There are 6 student staff members that are part of the CCE team. Application CLosed
International Student of OSU (ISOSU)
ISOSU Executive Team members are hired for various areas of international student government. Job duties include oversight and coordination of program areas, events, and activities. Memorial Union Program Council (MUPC) Event Coordinators
MUPC is a student-run organization that produces an array of diverse, high quality events ranging from small programs to large concerts that enhance campus life. Being a part of the Memorial Union Program Council is a wonderful opportunity to learn event-planning skills, meet new people, make connections, build leadership skills and have fun. Student Sustainability Initiative
SSI Coordinators work individually and as part of a team to uphold the SSI’s mission of supporting student efforts to create a sustainable community at OSU through action, education, and opportunity. Positions range from coordinators who implement projects in specific areas of sustainability, to support staff that coordinate aspects of the program such as visibility and promotion, finances, and external partnerships. Team Liberation Process Coordinators
Team Liberation is a student-led organization that provides human relations and social justice workshops conducted on-campus and in the Corvallis community. The Team Liberation Process Coordinator works closely with the Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide administrative support to Team Liberation facilitators, offer services to the campus and surrounding community, and runs the daily operations of the program.
