CANDIDATE STATEMENT: The number and extent of the changes we have seen over the past few years at Oregon State may pale in
comparison to the changes that are on the way. I have observed and been a part of many of the previous changes which
affected faculty (especially fixed-term faculty and faculty of color), students (especially underrepresented, first-generation,
and low-income students), and outside constituents. I have committed my professional career to working in whatever way I
can to improve the campus for all of us, and I look forward to more opportunities to continue to do so.
