- Faculty Panels for Hearing Committee
Election
The Board's Administrative Rules define criteria and procedures
for the imposition of sanctions for cause, including termination
of appointment (OAR 580-21-320 through 580-21-375). If such a sanction
is to be imposed, the faculty member is entitled to a formal hearing
of charges by a hearing committee to be selected from a faculty
panel that has been duly established. Nominees for each new panel
are randomly selected. Faculty Panels for Hearing Committees are
elected on even numbered years.
Ballots will be distributed at the meeting; balloting for ten
primary members will be limited to Senators or their official
representatives.
