The Committee
Interest Form for University and Faculty Senate committees and
councils is available for online submission. The forms can either
be submitted electronically or via paper. When possible, Faculty
Senate committee/council members are selected from those who respond
to the Committee Interest Form. Please consider volunteering for
committees. Standing

for viewing online. Please contact the Faculty
Senate Office if you have difficulty accessing the form.

Fixed-Term Faculty Task Force
The Faculty Senate's Fixed-Term Faculty Task Force has been charged
with building on the work of the Professional Faculty Task Force
and preparing recommendations that "clarify and formalize
the commitments and opportunities that OSU can reasonably expect
from fixed-term faculty and the commitments that fixed-term faculty
can reasonably expect from OSU." Of particular interest are
how to determine excellent performance and how to reward excellence.
The Task Force is preparing a survey for all non-tenured/non-tenure-track
fixed-term faculty: instructors, research assistants and associates,
and professional faculty. We would like to encourage all fixed-term
faculty to participate in this survey. For questions, please contact Deborah Healey at 737-6985.
