Disabling IPv6

Windows Vista sometimes has a problem that requires the user to disable IPv6.

• Click on Start, select Network
• Click on Network and Sharing Center, then click Manage Network Connections on the left
• Right click on the Local Area Connection icon and select Properties
• Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), then click OK
