Symantec Antivirus (SAV) or Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP)

Antivirus software helps protect your computer from viruses and worms. The worst viruses and worms can make your computer inoperable. The University has a site license for Symantec Antivirus (partially funded by the Technology Resource Fee). So, all students can install and update it for free.

Download & Install Symantec Antivirus

1. Important: If you have another antivirus program currently installed on your computer, uninstall it first.
2. Click the appropriate link below for your computer's operating system, login with your ONID account and follow the instructions.
• Download SEP for Windows Vista/XP/2000
• Download SAV for Mac OS
3. Once the file is saved double-click the downloaded file and follow the installation instructions.
