Switching Between Registered Devices on ResNet

Many people have various internet ready devices. Things like personal computers, pda's, video game consoles, etc... Unfortunately ResNet only has enough available IP addresses to allow one network connection per student. One option is to use a properly configured router. The other option is to manually switch which device is active on the network. This guide is to help clearify that process.

Note: This guide assumes you have already registered two or more devices on the residential network

Changing Active Devices

• Click on Your Account in the left navigation bar of the ResNet website
• Login using your ONID credentials
• You will now be at the register computers screen. All currently registered devices should appear under the "Currently Registered Computers" header.
  
• Click on the button to enable your chosen device
