Description:
 This invention relates to plant hormones, and specifically to cytokinins, which have growth promoting effects. Nucleic acids encoding an enzyme having zeatin O-glucosyltransferase activity, vectors and transgenic plants containing these molecules are included.
Applications:
 Used to alter plant traits including seed development and yield.
