Wood Adhesive Compositions and Methods of Using and Making the Same

Description:
The invention describes adhesive compositions produced from abundant and renewable resources such as decayed lignocellulosic materials, as well as other inexpensive components such as borates and/or polyethyleneimine. Also disclosed are lignocellulosic composites that are made from the adhesive compositions.* See OSU 02-08 and OSU 02-21 for similar technologies.
Applications:
Any application currently utilizing phenol-formaldehyde or urea-formaldehyde resins, such as wood composite materials.
