Description: Chemotherapy has become a focus in cancer treatment, however natural products are the ultimate source of more then fifty percent of the clinical trial for the treatment of caner. This technology is related to cancer treatment. More particularly, the present invention related to the isolation, structure, and purification, of the novel antiproliferative cyclic peptide compound Coibamide A. Coibamide A was isolated and purified from a Panamanian marine cyanobacterium and it acts as chemotherapeutic agent
