Oregon State University's Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) facilitates the transfer of technologies developed at OSU to companies for the commercialization of inventions. The OTT's ultimate goal for the outstanding research which occurs at OSU is the commercialization of inventions for the public's greater use and benefit. The OTT also supports economic development for Oregon-based companies and Oregon constituents. The OTT manages OSU's patent portfolio, and assists in identifying, protecting, developing and licensing OSU inventions.
