Grants.gov has created a Citrix Server for Mac users to be able to download and complete an application. Go to http://grants.gov/MacSupport for information.
Registration Information:
As a principal investigator you do not need to register for grants.gov as an individual. OSP has registered the institution and will submit all OSU proposals through a common account.
Submission Information:
Since OSPRC will submit all proposals through Grants.gov, a PI will need to e-mail the completed application to sponsored.programs@oregonstate.edu when the proposal is ready for submission.
The PI needs to allow ample time for OSP to check the final version of the application for errors before submitting.
OSP will check for errors and submit; e-mails received from Grants.gov and the funding agency will be forwarded to PI.
Once Grants.Gov receives the proposal, it still has to be retrieved by the agency. At any time during this process, if an error is found, the entire proposal must be corrected and re-submitted, and all of this must occur before the deadline date.
The PI needs to remain available for contact after e-mailing the application to OSP in case errors are encountered during the process.
For full submission instructions go to <insert link to Submission Steps for Grants.gov>
File Management:
Important: The application file you download is not filled out online; if you e-mail it to someone the changes they make will not show up in your version.
