Cooperative Agreements; MOUs; MOAs

For any proposal to be considered under an existing cooperative agreement:

• The cooperative agreement number should be listed clearly in the proposal.
• The proposal should fit within the scope and terms stipulated in the agreement.
• The project period listed on the Proposal Transmittal Form should be the effective dates of the agreement.

For a new cooperative agreement or Joint Venture Agreement:

• The title page should clearly specify the type of mechanism
• The "substantive involvement" description in the narrative should clearly describe the involvement of the sponsor and the involvement of OSU personnel; if substantive involvement is not defined, then the activity is not appropriate for the JVA or cooperative agreement mechanism.
