Funding Opportunities

Developing the Proposal Concept and Locating Funding

Funding Announcements

Miscellaneous timely calls for submissions that the OSP receives from foundations and organizations.

Grant Forward

GrantForward, a service to which OSU subscribes, is a search engine that helps you find grants for your project. Use the “Sign up” or “Sign In” link.

Incentive Programs

Several funding opportunities for OSU faculty and students are managed through the Research Office, Coordinator of Special Programs. These include General Research Fund; Faculty Release Time; Research Equipment Reserve Fund; and Undergraduate Research, Innovation, Scholarship and Creativity Fund.

All discretionary grants offered by the 26 federal grant-making agencies can be found on Grants.gov. These can also be obtained through Cayuse.

Limited Submission Grant Opportunities

For programs in which sponsors limit the number of proposals a campus may submit, a notification must be given to the Research Office at least 30 days prior to the submission deadline. The Research Office Incentive Programs will provide guidance as to how the submission process will be structured.
