FAQ: Who will be able to see my disclosed financial interests?
Who will be able to see my disclosed financial interests?
In order to determine whether a financial interest could influence the design, conduct or reporting of research, the nature of the financial interest and the entity in which the interest is held must be reviewed against the research activities you conduct at the University. As part of that process, your department head/chair/director and dean/vice provost/vice president will have access to view your financial interests and may provide input. Based on the type of financial interests you disclose, the COI Administrator, COI Officer and members of the COI Committee will also be able to see the interests.
Within constraints imposed by state law, all information that is disclosed in considered part of your confidential personnel record.
