Exams, Repeated Courses, & More
Exams
Learn more about the rules governing Finals Week by reading Academic Regulation 16.
Any student that wishes to pursue an exam for credit or waiver should familiarize themselves with the rules. Academic Regulation 23 provides the rules for Special Examination for Credit, while Academic Regulation 24 addresses the Special Examination for Waiver requirements. To request an exam for credit or waiver they must carefully read and follow all instructions to complete the Exam Petition form. The completed petition is returned to the Office of the Registrar.
Repeated Courses
Students that are considering repeating a course for any reason should consult Academic Regulation 20 to learn how their academic record will be effected. You may also view our Repeated Courses video, which includes examples of how repeat rules are applied in certain common situations.
