MyDegrees has become an essential tool for student success. It is heavily used by students and advisors from all the university colleges.
The system has been configured, and is currently being tested, to track academic progress for student athletes using the NCAA academic progress rules. The athletic eligibility component of MyDegrees will go live this fall and will result in a more efficient process for verifying academic progress for student athletes.
The Masters and PhD programs in Pharmacy went live last month. This was the last remaining college to use MyDegrees for student advising.
We are configuring and testing the WebTreQer product, which allows prospective students to see their OSU degree progress based on their transfer work from other schools. This system is scheduled to be ready for use early in 2012. OSU is one of the first universities to use this new tool and we are waiting on several important system changes before it will be suitable for our transfer students.
