Sport Clubs

The focus of the Sport Club Program is to offer recreational, social and competitive opportunities for students at a variety of skill levels. Clubs are student-run and often compete with other universities around the state and across the United States.
Fees
Though clubs are partially funded through the Department of Recreational Sports, they still need to collect dues from their membership and fundraise to fully support themselves. Club dues vary from club to club.
Join a Club
Membership is open to all currently enrolled students of all skill levels, and those OSU Community members who are currently Recreational Sports Members. Interested participants can join a club in a variety of ways:
- Attend a Club Practice or Contact a Club Officer
- Fill out a Club Information Card in Sports and Special Programs Office
- Visit the Sport Club Database and follow the steps to "become a member"
Start a Club
Stop by the Sports and Special Programs Office and obtain a formal application packet. Staff will walk you through the application process, work with you on the club’s purpose and goals, and let you know what it means to be a sport club at OSU. Completed applications are reviewed by the Sport Club Committee and staff for acceptance in to the program.
