Join the rest of Beaver Nation in the Pac-12 Fitness Challenge, where your healthy and active lifestyle can help Oregon State earn the crown as the fittest community in the conference!
The task is simple. Log in to Facebook and “like” the Pac-12 Fitness Challenge Page. Once you allow the challenge access to your profile, select Oregon State as the school you’d like to represent and begin tracking your activity!
This event is open to anyone that has a Facebook page. The school that earns the most fitness points by the end of the week is crowned Pac-12 champion!
Participants earn points for logging their activity minutes. You can enter minutes up to three times a day — depending on how active you are — for any cardio, strength or stretching exercises you complete.
You can also earn points for recreational activities and motivating others to get involved!
Every point you earn goes directly to Oregon State.
How to register:
- “Like” the Pac-12 Fitness Challenge page on Facebook and click “Take the Challenge!”
- Allow the Pac-12 Fitness Challenge to access your Facebook account.
- Choose to represent Oregon State as your school.
- Start logging your minutes through Facebook!
Join Beaver Nation in the challenge and spread the word so OSU can be recognized as the most active university in the Pac-12!
RecSports staff members will be signing people up in front of Dixon Recreation Center on Monday, Oct. 22, and Tuesday, Oct. 23. If you register with us you get a FREE Oregon State “I Sweat Orange” headband!
We’ll also be hosting a share competition on Facebook the entire week! Anyone that shares Pac-12 information with their friends gets their name thrown in a pot to win a Fitbit One Wireless Activity Tracker (Retails at $99), OSU Beavers blankets and Beavers chairs! The drawing for winners takes place the week after the competition.
Sign up today! Feel free to stop in or call the Department of Recreational Sports with any questions. You can find a list of our contact information here.
