Getting Started
Families who have enrolled a child in OSU’s Winter Wonderings or OSU’s KidSpirit should log in using the same email address and password used for those previous registrations.
Families who have not previously used the OSU Precollege Programs online registration system will need to set up a new account with password and answers to security questions.
Families unable to access the online application should contact Expeditions at 541-737-2670 to request an application form be mailed to them.
Completing the Application
When completing the Expeditions application process, families should be prepared to provide information about their child’s intellectual, behavioral, and social characteristics, work with others in group settings, strategies to assure the child has a positive academic and social experience, and any special services needed.
The submitted information is not used as admission criteria. It assists program staff in designing instruction and activities to meet the needs of enrolled students. The most beneficial materials are thoughtful, complete, and designed to help the staff gain insight into each applicant and their strengths and interests.
Parents of home school students are to submit a copy of the most recent test results.
Notification of acceptance to Expeditions and the course packet will be sent in April to the email address listed in the child’s online application. Students then select courses in which they wish to participate. These selections must be returned with a $50 nonrefundable deposit by May 10, 2013. The balance is due July 1, 2013. All payments can be made by check, cash, or online (4% service fee charged for credit card payments).
