Join us at the Hatfield Marine Science Center for How Do We Explore? Volume 2 of the Okeanos Explorer Education Materials Collection from NOAA. During this day long professional development for educators of 5-12th grade students, participants will learn how to use standards-based lessons and other online resources that guide classroom investigations into the innovative exploration and equipment on the Okeanos Explorer research vessel. Registration is required and space is limited. Educators who participate the full day will receive a $50 stipend as well as education materials, a continental breakfast and lunch.
