ICYI is a collaborative partnership among the OSU College of Forestry, Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Research Station, and Bureau of Land Management. OSU K-12 Online is a new program offering more than 65 high school middle school classes delivered online. Subject areas include English, math, science, social science, arts, technology and career learning-all designed for high school students. 4-H Tech Wizards is a tiered mentoring project involving over thirty community organizations focused on assisting under-represented youth to bridge the digital divide! 4-H Wildlife Stewards promote science learning and environmental stewardship among youth. They create sustainable wildlife habitat sites on school grounds by inspiring, educating and connecting communities, schools and natural resource agencies and organizations. Wildlife Stewards Web site.
4-H Club Programs are available for children from grades K-12. 4-H clubs are lead by volunteers and allow children to learn-by-doing. 4-H assists youth in acquiring knowledge about a range of topics, and developing leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

Oregon Food and Nutrition Program is offered for children in a number of Portland area schools and summer feeding sites to help them learn good food choices, low cost nutritious foods, and safe preparation practices.

Project WILD is the nation's longest-standing wildlife education program. Activities and programs take place throughout Oregon, including the Environmental Learning Center in Oregon City. The Science Connections program is a partnership between the College of Science at Oregon State University and Portland Public Schools. Our goal is to enhance science education in the public schools by forging connections between working scientists (faculty, researchers and students at OSU) and Portland Public Schools teachers and students. We reach this goal through activities such as classroom visits, lectures, e-mail connections and workshops.
