Kevin McShane, who attended Portland's Jesuit High School and Clackamas Community College, comes from a long list of family members who have attended Oregon State, including his father (Bill), mother (Laura), step-mother (Beth) and five cousins. He arrived at OSU for the 2008-2009 season as a walk-on and left as a three-year team captain. Kevin, who aspires to be a high school teacher and basketball coach, notes that "being a team captain isn't about yelling at guys or giving compliments. It's about being a leader on the court, off the court, in the locker room and trying to be the best player you can be and helping others be better players and people at the same time." Take I-5 South to Exit 300B (exit on the right) and remain in the right-hand lane. Follow the signs to Morrison Street Bridge, and remain in the center lane while crossing the bridge. Take I-5 North to Exit 299B (exit on the left) and follow signs to Front Avenue (Exit 1A). The exit turns into Harbor Drive then continues onto Clay Street.
