On Saturday, May 5, the 2012 Icons of Pharmacy were honored at a dinner and reception held at Portland City Grill. In addition to the guests of honor, Larry Cartier (’74), Bob Coulter (’73), and Carl Heisel (’75), the College of Pharmacy welcomed a number of past recipients of the Icons of Pharmacy award, alumni, and friends to the celebration. Recognition as an Oregon State University Icon of Pharmacy and induction into the Pharmacy Hall of Fame is an honor reserved for those who have demonstrated dedication to the College of Pharmacy and distinguished themselves through sustained, meritorious contributions to pharmacy throughout their careers.
