Lane CC closures for winter break
December 11th, 2007 at 9:58 amFrom LCC:
Greetings Colleagues,
As part of our college-wide plans to meet our significant budget deficit for the 2007-2008 academic year, Lane Community College has given employees additional leave days to use during our holiday break and we are closing earlier than in the past and will be closely completely.
What is significant for all of you who are receiving applicants and transfers from or to Lane is that we will not be open in any capacity between December 15th through December 26th. Our on-line admissions will be shut down during this time and will resume on the 27th.
Students may order transcripts on line through ExpressLane at lanecc.edu or through the National Clearinghouse, but both physical and EDI transcripts will not be sent out of Lane until Thursday, December 27th. We will send them in the order received.
We are working hard to graduate any fall degree candidates this week before we close, but again, will not resume this activity until December 27th.
Let me know if you have questions and please make sure that your phone and e-mail responding staff are aware of this closure.
Sincerely,
Helen B. Garrett
