The Health & Fitness Connection is a clinic located inside Dixon Recreation Center that offers athletic training, fitness consultation, massage, physical therapy, and health promotion/wellness resources.
The newly renovated, state-of-the-art Dixon Recreation Center provides facilities for and information about fitness, indoor climbing, outdoor recreation, sport clubs, intramural clubs, the OSU challenge course, safety training, and more.
The Office of Dean of Students promotes the development of a healthy campus community and serves as a primary link for students, faculty, administrators, and parents. If you have a concern about your son or daughter and are not sure where to go for help, this is an excellent place to start.

Corvallis is considered one of the safest university communities on the west coast, and OSU has the lowest reported crime rate among PAC-10 campuses. The Department of Public Safety and the Oregon State Police work in partnership to provide a safe campus for students. In addition to a wide range of safety services and crime prevention programs, officers patrol the campus and residential areas on bicycles, on foot, and in cruisers 24 hours a day.
