OWN is an organization designed to gather and serve women from all areas of the University, including classified staff, professional faculty, teaching faculty and research and extension faculty/staff.

By offering a safe space for authentic dialogues, community building, informal networking and personal and professional development opportunities, OWN serves all women who are employed at OSU.

Our OWN goals are:

• To mentor and take care of each other, in order to forge professional and personal connections among all women at OSU.
• To coordinate and collaborate on professional and personal development opportunities for all women at OSU.
• To actively advocate for gender equity in compensation, advancement opportunities, and professional development; and to improve the campus climate for all women at OSU.
• To help recruit, hire and retain women at OSU.
