This will be a reception-style event. Then, from 6 to 9 p.m., at LaSells Stewart Center, attend the Lavender Graduation ceremony. These events will recognize LGBTQ+ graduates and those leaving OSU for their hard work and contributions to the community. These celebrations create a space in which students may reflect on their complex journeys and share their accomplishments with friends, family, and colleagues.

OSU Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan process.  OSU Emergency Management and OSU Capital Planning are developing a natural hazards mitigation plan for OSU.  The plan will summarize the vulnerability of OSU to natural hazards and identify risk reduction activities to decrease the vulnerability.  As plan chapters are developed, comments and input are welcome via the plan’s website.  Once the data analysis and the draft plan is fully developed, public meetings will be held to summarize the plan and seek additional comments.  Follow our progress and review draft chapters at http://emergency.oregonstate.edu/nhmp or email comments to emergency@oregonstate.edu

Division of International Programs – Scholarships for International Students – Deadline Extended: The deadline for Scholarships for Continuing International Students has been extended from May 5 to June 16. F-1 or J-1 students, with economic need, who have studied a minimum of 3 terms at OSU in a degree-seeking program are encouraged to apply. The minimum overall GPA for undergraduate students is 2.5 and graduate students is 3.0. Preference will be given to students nearing degree completion. Traffic and Maintenance

Burt Hall: Due to the City of Corvallis removing a street tree adjacent to campus near Burt Hall, the parking along the east side of 27th will be unavailable as well as limited pedestrian access.  The closure will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 9 (View Map).

ROTC lots: Due to the Super Regional Baseball Playoffs, on June 6 – June 11, Coleman Field East and three, spaces in the Navy ROTC Armory East lots will be reserved for NCAA Baseball officials and business (View Map).

2017-18 Parking Permit Sales Schedule: Permit sales for same-zone purchases are just a couple of months away. The sales schedule for 2017-18 annual permits can be found at http://fa.oregonstate.edu/parking/permit_renewal.

Steam shutdown: Each year Facilities Services performs necessary maintenance on the university’s steam system, which requires shutting off the steam throughout campus, to complete maintenance services at the plant, throughout the steam tunnels and in each building.  This process affects hot water supply, heating, and all equipment that uses steam, campus wide.  The steam shutdown for 2017 will occur June 18, 6 p.m. – June 26, 8 a.m.
