Williamson now holds the title of Emeritus Professor in the School of Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering. Researchers on Radio: Inspiration Dissemination is a program focused on students actively involved in research on OSU’s radio station, KBVR. The program is scheduled every Sunday at 7 p.m. and will run throughout the summer. The show is seeking guests to feature. NEW! Patterson Retirement: Gail Patterson of AMBC will be retiring from OSU after 31 years of service with OUS/OSU. A celebration will be held on Wednesday, June 27 , 3-5 p.m., in MU 109B. Refreshments will be served.

Traffic and Maintenance

NEW! 30th Street: Due to the installation of the new ADA intersection at 30th and Campus Way, north and southbound traffic on 30th from Orchard Ave. to Jefferson Way will be closed from June 18-Aug. 13.

Campus Wide Closures: Due to exclusive use by Commencement following parking lots and roadways will be temporarily closed starting 5 p.m. Friday, June 15 through 11 p.m. Sunday, June 17: Valley Football Center Parking Lot; Bloss West Lot; Bloss South Lot; Ralph Miller Lane between 26th and 30th Street; 30th Street between Washington Way and Western Blvd.; and 26th Street between Washington Way and Western Blvd. Cascade Hall Parking lot closed June 16-17. Swimming Pool: Due to mechanical system upgrades the swimming pool at the Women’s Building will be closed from June 18-Aug. 31.

Campus Wide: Due to annual maintenance on the campus steam distribution system, Facilities Services will need to temporarily shut down all steam services to campus from June 18-21. This will affect all hot water and heating services.


Corvallis: Warm and sunny – a great way to end the school year. Temperatures expected to reach 79 degrees today, and the warm weather should continue all weekend.
